Patience wins in Texas!

How good is Zach Johnson? This is a guy who has won several times on the PGA tour including a Masters and he wasn't even the #1 guy on his college team.

Not a long hitter but a guy who is described as patient and takes whats given to him on every shot. He won in Texas and now leads the Fedex cup standings.

You don't have to be long to score in this game is the lesson. Just be patient. If there is lessons that is learned by watching Zachery Johnson is that flash can only get you so far. Golf is marathon not a sprint. So if you score that double on the first hole play your game because you never know how the round might shape up.

Zach shot a 60 on saturday and struggled on sunday, but stayed patient and found the way to win the tourney. Bad rounds usually follow good ones but press too much and the bad round can turn into horrific. Golf is not won on 1 hole, just ask the guy who wasnt #1 on his golf team.

Hello World!

Two words, hello world! Tiger's famous post round presser that introduced himself to the golfing world. Like Tiger this website will be done in the best way it possibly can. I am very excited to bring to many golf fans across the country an exciting new forum to bring golf news to the masses.

This golf website is setup to bring the most up to date golf news, and opinions in a manner that is shall I say straight putt, for lack of a better term. No weird breaks, no funny hops, no faulty grain. Just straight in. The way true golf fans like their news.

I'll be publishing my work from a golfing Hot Zone, Jacksonville Fl. For those of you that live here you know how deep the golf roots run here, but for those who do not, it is the home of the PGA Tour headquarters, just minutes away from the World Golf Hall of Fame, and home of the 5th Major, The Players.

I also have covered many golf tournaments working as a multi-media journalist, but do not fret this will not be be media-coated in any way. I will just be using my experience working in the media to bring you news the best way I can.

So with your help let's get this ball rolling and please enjoy the site!
